The Product Preview Page reflects the latest product and variant data that Flexify can read from Shopify, making it useful for checking your setup before updating the generated feed and sending the latest data to Meta.
How to open the Product Preview Page #
You can find a link to the Flexify Product Preview Page on every Shopify product page. To access it, go to the product’s admin page, click More actions, and select Facebook Product Feed Preview.
You can review the product without making changes. If you want to edit product attributes or media from the Product Preview Page, Flexify may request permission to modify your feed settings.
What the Product Preview Page shows #
The page shows the product and variant data Flexify uses for your feed, including attributes, metafields, images, videos, and feed output.
You can switch between variants to review their individual data and media.
Source images #
Under Media → Source images, you can review the featured image, additional Shopify images, and images provided through metafields.
Where relevant, Flexify also indicates when an image comes from a metafield.
How image formats are displayed #
Under Feed output, Flexify shows all images included in the feed, grouped by their preferred Meta format:
- Preferred 1:1
- Preferred 4:5
- Preferred 9:16
- Untagged
These can include images generated by Image Templates or provided through product or variant metafields.
This makes it easier to confirm which images Flexify will provide to Meta.
Why can the Product Preview Page differ from Meta? #
The Product Preview Page reflects the latest Shopify data available to Flexify immediately. The generated feed and Meta catalog update separately.
