Flexify Flexify

How do I uninstall Flexify? What happens to my subscription and billing?

Uninstalling Flexify is usually all you need to remove the app. Learn whether Flexify leaves code behind, affects store speed, and what happens to your subscription and Shopify billing cycle after uninstalling.

If you want to stop using Flexify, uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin is usually all you need to do.

How do I uninstall Flexify? #

Remove Flexify from Settings > Apps and sales channels page in your Shopify admin.

That is usually enough.

Can Flexify slow down my store? #

No. Flexify does not run on your storefront or interfere with your theme, so it should not affect your store's speed. If you are specifically wondering about theme changes, please also see Does Flexify modify my Shopify theme?

What happens to my subscription? #

If you uninstall the app, future recurring app charges should end on Shopify’s side.

If you downgrade to the Free plan, that should also end the paid subscription going forward.

Why might I still see a charge? #

If you still see a charge, this usually does not mean that Flexify kept charging after uninstall.

In most cases, it means the charge belongs to the billing period that was already active before the uninstall happened. Shopify app charges follow Shopify’s own billing cycle, so timing can matter.

In some cases, billing can look unexpected if the store was paused, frozen, or reactivated. In that situation, it is best to check the billing dates in Shopify.

How does billing work? #

All app billing is handled directly through Shopify. That includes app charges, billing cycles, and how charges appear on your Shopify invoice.

For a full overview, please see the Shopify Billing Guide.
